Mousam River, Kennebunk, Maine: We had winter for a few days there, but today it is raining hard, with high winds, and will reach 50 degrees. Not winter, the way it supposed to be…as far as I am concerned. The snow is still on the ground but it is a soggy mess and will probably be totally washed away by day’s end. So this will be, for the moment, my celebration of the Maine winter the way it is supposed to be. OM Systems OMD E-M5Mkiii with 12-45mm zoom. Program with in-camera HDR. Processed in Photomator.
Two HDR snowy landscapes from behind the dunes at our local beach, and a forest panorama (three HDR shots stitched). OM Systems OMD E-M5mkiii and the Olympus 12-45mm zoom. Program mode with HDR. Processed in Photomator and stitched in Panorama Stitcher. Assembled in FrameMagic.
One of the best known waterfalls in Costa Rica, mainly because a busy road crosses the foot of the falls on a narrow bridge (just out of frame). The area on either side of the bridge has been colonized by stalls selling tourist merchandise of all kinds, making parking a risky business…as is crossing the narrow bridge with its traffic for alternative views of the falls. This is actually the lower section of the last of 5 major waterfalls just upriver. To see both sections you have to climb a little hill beyond the falls, in which case the bridge is in the way (I have that photo and may share it one day), or you have to stand in the middle of the bridge, which no sane person would do for long…certainly not long enough for anything but a cell phone pic. I do not have that photo. OM Systems OMD E-M5 Mk3 with 12-45mm Pro zoom. In-camera HDR. Processed in Photomator.

When I decided to go out yesterday morning looking for photos in lieu of my qi gong routine, the sun was shining. By the time I got out the door the clouds had rolled in. Still a nice morning and photographically productive. This is our local beach and the sea view. OM Systems OMD EM5Mkiii with 12-45mm zoom at 24mm equivalent. Program mode with in-camera HDR. The maples in the wet maple forest are totally bare now. The lone oak stands out at the edge of the marsh, here at Laudholm Farms. OM Systems OMD EM5Mkiii with 12-45mm zoom at 54mm equivalent. Program mode with in-camera HDR. Processed in Photomator.
