This was not what I had in mind when I bought the a7CR with its full frame 61mp sensor and the Tamron 150-500, but this a good example of the kind of shot that would not have been possible with much less. This is still a 4mp crop at distance of about 10 feet. It will be pretty much life size on the screen of your phone, and go up from there as the display size increases. 🙂 500mm.
