White-faced Meadowhawk (likely). Laudholm Farms, Wells, Maine, USA, September 2026 — By the look of the legs on this dragon it is very likely a late White-faced Meadowhawk and not an Autumn Meadowhawk, but it is certainly displayed against the splendor of autumn ferns. It makes for an interesting photo. I think. Sony a7CR with Sony FE 100-400 f5.6-8 at 400mm. Cropped to about 950mm effective field of view. My birds and wildlife mode. Processed in Photomator.
