Mycena Mushrooms (perhaps Yellow-legged Bonnet): Emmon’s Preserve, Arundel, Maine, USA, October 2026 — Because of my love of mushrooms, I bought a tiny Viltrox fill flash for my Sony a6700 and a high-quality NESI 5 diopter close-up lens. The combination, along with the old 16–50mm kit lens, makes a decent setup for forest-floor macro (or close-ups at any rate). These little guys are just over an inch tall at their tallest, and their yellowish color and translucent caps make them a good candidate for Yellow-legged Bonnet. Sony a6700. Sony 16–50mm zoom at 57mm equivalent field of view. f16. NESI 58mm close-up lens. Viltrox Vintage V2 flash on TTL Auto.
