Carolina Wren: Kennebunk, Maine, USA, October 2025 — As I mentioned yesterday, the birds have been very active the past few days, and I even got out with my newish Tamron 150-500 and the a7CR on my light weight travel tripod to see what I could catch. While photographing a Red-bellied Woodpecker on the deck above me this wren popped up under the deck and sat on the compost barrel for just long enough to get off one burst of shots. All right!
