Eastern Bluebird: Kennebunk, Maine, USA, November 2025 — sometimes the light is just right and the birds at the back deck feeder station are so busy feeding that I can get the back deck door open without disturbing them…and I get shots like this one, taken through the open door from about 15 feet, that really show off the amazing blue of the Bluebird. And not just the blue itself, but how it blends and contrasts with the rusty browns. The glint in the eye is worth seeing as well. 🙂 Sony a6700. Sigma 16-300 at 450mm equivalent.
