Yellow-headed Caracara: Hotel Bougainvillea, Heredia, Costa Rica, March 2025 — We did not get to the Hotel Bougainvillea until just before sunset…but in time to catch this Yellow-headed Caracara having an argument with its own reflection in a metal clad chimney next door. I saw this, or another Yellow-head, the last time I stayed at the Bougainvillea, in December 2023, in exactly the same spot. 🙂 Sony a6700. Tamron 50-400 at 600mm equivalent.
