Belted Kingfisher: York County, Maine, USA, November 2023 — This photo was taken from too far away and cropped to heavily to be a great photo, but I don’t see our only Kingfisher here in southern Maine as often as I would like, and they are always wary…so I take what I can get. They are around. I just don’t see them. And the kingfishers must might be my favorite birds, if I allowed myself such an indulgence. 🙂 OM Systems OM-1 with ED 100-400mm zoom at 800mm equivalent.
