Pied Kingfishers: Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda, August 2022 — To say that we saw a lot of Pied Kingfishers from the Lake Mburo tour boat would be somewhat of an understatement. They were everywhere…so much so that I only took photos of major concentrations! Bush and branchfuls. Sony Rx10iv at 600mm equivalent. Program mode with my custom birds and wildlife modifications.
