American Goldfinch, Kennebunk, Maine USA

The Goldfinches come to the feeder a few times a day. I have thistle out for them, but they also visit the mixed seed feeders. They are skitterish and I had to wait a long time on the deck to get this one to come in while I was there. This, I think, is a spring male, perhaps last years juvenile just coming into its summer plumage. Sony Rx10iv at 600mm equivalent. Program mode with my custom birds and wildlife modifications.
