Spangled Skimmer, Day Brook Pond, Kennebunk Wildlife Management Area, Maine

We are in Houston on our way to Honduras this morning. This Spangled Skimmer was using the same bush above Day Brook Pond as a perch the whole time we watched him. He would fly out and take down a teneral Dancer or a Crane Fly and return to his perch to devour it.
