Collared Aricari: The Lodge at Pico Bonito, Honduras
The Lodge at Pico Bonito is a rain-forest lodge and has lots of birds and wildlife right on the grounds…enough to keep anyone busy for many days. We found a small flock of Collard Aricari, relatives of the Toucans, feeding on berries relatively close to the ground, and I had a happy few moments of photographing them.
Sony HX400V at just under 1200mm equivalent field of view. ISO 2500 @ 1/640th @ f6.3. Processed in Lightroom on my Surface Pro 3 tablet.
