If you go to Point Loma to catch breeding plumage Brown Pelican’s in flight, you go to La Jolla to catch them sitting on the rocks. Oh, they sit on Point Loma too, but the rocks they favor are inaccessible for photopraphy. At La Jolla, they sit on rocks right below the sidewalk, often with-in 15 to 20 feet. It is easy to fill the fame with the Pelican. 🙂
