This specimen was along West Road at Shark Valley in the Everglades. Who can resist? Night Herons always look grumpy to me, and the Yellow-crown more than most&#8230;like they are having a bad day and have no reason to think it will get any better&#8230;or that tomorrow will be anything but more of the same. \ud83d\ude41 This bird manages, as I see it, to rise to a\u00a0stoic look&#8230;which is pretty good natured\u00a0for a Night Heron. \ud83d\ude41<\/p>\n<p>Sony HX400V at 950mm equivalent. Shutter preferred. 1\/640th @ ISO 640 @ f6.3.
