Maybe they nested else-ware, or maybe the nest failed, or maybe I just missed the brood when they fledged. Still, I do see them in their usual perches, on the old fence pilings in the marsh east of Rt. 9. <\/p>\n<p>Canon SX40HS. Program with iContrast and \u20131\/3EV exposure compensation.&#160; 1680mm equivalent field of view (840mm optical zoom plus 2x digital tel-converter). f5.8 @ 1\/200th @ ISO 100.
