A crisp, clear high desert morning with a few clouds to reflect off the water at Bosque Del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, and the mountains etched on the horizon\u2026the contrasting warmth of the cottonwoods in autumn plumage, and the grasses and reeds browning toward winter\u2026and all flooded with that unique light: there is nothing quite like it.<\/p>\n<p>Canon SX40HS at 24mm equivalent field of view, f4 @ 1\/800th @ ISO 100.
