Carolina Wren: Kennebunk, Maine, USA, October 2025 \u2014 after a day when we had practically no birds at all (so few that I took a long walk around the neighborhood to see if I could find them\u2026without success), yesterday there were birds at and around the feeders all day long. The days were not that different weather-wise. Both basically cloudy and on the cool side\u2026typical damp fall days in southern Maine. Who knows. Anyway, I was out enjoying the traffic in the back yard when this Carolina Wren appeared, and spent at least half an hour with me, all over and under the deck. Sony a6700. Sigma 16-300 at 450mm equivalent. Aperture program with birds and wildlife modifications. Processed in Photomator. Such a wonderful little bundle of energy! <\/p>\n
