Since Lion\u2019s Mane can only infect existing wounds, this must be where a branch was removed from the tree to make room for the boardwalk. It was a difficult subject to photograph as it was so long and narrow, following the crack in the tree. This is two close up shots\u2026top and bottom\u2026stitched together in Pixomatic to form a vertical panorama. Sony a6700. Sigma 16-300 at 260mm equivalent. Aperture with macro modifications. f8.
