We did get some melting while I was away, but this is the Mousam River just before I left\u2026frozen and snow covered. We still have feet of \u201cwhite ice\u201d in the backyard\u2026highly reflective and highly resistant to melting. So it goes. We could easily get another foot of fresh snow before spring is ready to lay claim to the landscape for good. <\/p>\n<p>Canon SX20IS at 28mm equivalent field of view, f4 @ 1\/640th @ ISO 80.
