Gambia through a valley with extensive wet meadows and  \u201cliving fences\u201d leading to a lodge in the forest at the end. The wet meadows, in particular, were full of birds. There were many Southern Lapwings\u2026but for some reason the only ones I could catch were always walking away. They seemed to sense the bus stopping and be already on the move by they time we piled out. Sony Rx10iv at 600mm equivalent. Program mode with my custom birds and wildlife modifications. Processed in Pixelmator Photo and Apple Photos. ISO 100 @ f4 @ 1\/800th and 1\/640th.
