Volunteers from the local garden club keep it planted with a wide variety of plants and wildflowers native to Mt. Desert Island and the upper Atlantic Coast.<\/p>\n<p>This stand of Canada Lily, only a half dozen plants or so, was in the mini-meadow on the edge of the micro-marsh. I took many different views from various angles&#8230;above and below&#8230;close in and further back. This one, with the second flower making an interesting out of focus accent in the background, is the one that keeps my attention best.<\/p>\n<p>I actually set this up in camera, moving around the flower to place that second bloom exactly were it is.<\/p>\n<p>Sony H50. F5.6 @ 1\/400 @ ISO 100.
