Behind the<br \/>\nbeaver dam on the Bascom, the Maples<br \/>\nare knee deep in the flooded forest, and<br \/>\nhere already in the third week of August<br \/>\nthe green has died back to reveal the red,<br \/>\nand the leaves burn like October. It is so<br \/>\nstartling that I had to stop for a picture&#8230;<br \/>\nfire above and fire below in the reflection.<br \/>\nAutumn before time, reminder and promise.<\/p>\n<p>Sony RX10iv in-camera HDR at 42mm equivalent. 1\/160th @ f3.2 @ ISO 100.
